Macaulay2 Winter School

📍 Hue University of Education,  34 Le Loi Street, Hue City, Vietnam.

1. Objectives 

There will be a two week meeting on the software Macaulay2 at the Hue University of Education in Hue, Vietnam. It will consist of several lectures on basic functionality of Macaulay2, and how to use it to solve problems in Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, and other fields. Then, participants will work in groups led by experienced members of the Macaulay2 community to develop packages in order that expand the core functionality of the software. Each morning there will be tutorials on subjects including package formatting, collaboration via Github, and troubleshooting.

Researchers and students of all levels of Macaulay2 experience and knowledge are encouraged .
